Natural vs Lab-Grown
Chemically identical. Optically identical. Physically identical. The only difference is origin.
Composition
Both are 100% crystalline carbon in the diamond cubic structure. Both grade on the same 4Cs scale.
Formation
Natural: 1–3 billion years, 150km below the earth. Lab-grown: 2–4 weeks in a plasma reactor or press.
Sustainability & ethics
Lab-grown diamonds use significantly less water, no mining displacement, and offer transparent traceability from creation to setting.
