CVD vs HPHT
Two paths to the same brilliance.
CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition)
A diamond seed is placed in a chamber filled with carbon-rich gases. When heated, the carbon molecules bond to the seed and grow the diamond layer by layer.
HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature)
Recreates the extreme conditions of the earth's mantle — around 1,500°C and 5 GPa of pressure. Carbon crystallises around a seed diamond.
Which is better?
Both produce beautiful, real diamonds. Every diamond at Flawless Solitaire is graded independently by IGI, regardless of method.
